Amy Schumer rubbishes pregnancy rumours, says thank you for thinking of her womb

Comedian and actress Amy Schumer took to social media and confirmed that she is not pregnant.

She took to Instagram and posted a video wherein she quashed her pregnancy rumours.

"I am not pregnant. It looked like I was pointing to a bump or something but I'm not," she said in her video.

The rumours pertain to a previous Instagram post by the comedian, wherein she was pointing at her belly wearing a red dress.

Quashing the rumours she further said, "Leesa Evans (stylist) and I have created a clothing line for all sizes and shapes at a chill price point. That's what I was trying to allude to, but thank you for thinking of my womb."

Owing to her coming timing on stage she captioned the video accordingly and wrote, "I always have a bump alert!"

Amy Schumer, who recently been married to American chef Chris Fischer, made her film debut in a starring role in Trainwreck (2015), for which she received nominations for the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Original Screenplay.

She also received the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in Motion Picture Comedy or Musical for this very film.

She published a memoir in 2016, The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo and held the top position on The New York Times Non-Fiction Best Seller list for two weeks.
