Fat Britons prefer diet pills to gym

London: More than half of Britain's population has admitted they are overweight, however, they are not ready to go to gym, says a new poll.

The survey conducted for the British Society of Gastroenterology saw every one person in five admitting to binge eating.

Also, 15 percent said they would choose to take diet pills than work out.

"Obesity is an issue that needs tackling," the Daily Star quoted society president, Prof Chris Hawkey, as saying.
