On the occasion of World Arthritis Day, a free consultation camp has been organised by Vashi-based SBF Healthcare Pvt Ltd. The camp, that started on October 12, will conclude on October 19. People suffering from arthritis will be given consultation by some of the renowned surgeons.

The patients are treated through quantum magnetic resonance therapy (QMRT) which is world’s first scientifically proven, non-surgical treatment to help regenerate cartilage and restore mobility of arthritic knee joints. The treatment for osteoarthritis is a 21-day process which does not require the patient to be hospitalised and the total time required for treatment each day is around one hour.

Similarly, the Koparkhairane-based, Sai Snehadeep hospital also organised a ‘garba’ for senior citizens who had undergone knee replacement.

The garba night for these patients is an initiative of the newly-launched, bone and joint support group at the hospital while 50 men and women between 65 and 80 years of age took part in it.
