Just like for women, hair styling can make or break a look for men too! And it’s Valentine’s day soon, so you want to look all snazzy and fine for your date. You may have coloured hair or a haircut with lots of texture and steps or simply a short crop or an adventurous and quirky shoulder length cut, but you could surely do with some styling. Besides, all of these cuts do require some quick styling so it does justice to your facial features too. Here are two hairstyles you could try:

Textured styling

To add some fun to the otherwise very fuss-free short crop or mid-length hair, a textured crop is great to sport. This one looks exceptionally smart, be it on formal wear or casuals. For this style, your crown portion could have some messy styling with waves and curls, while the sides could be have a back-gelled look. The ruffled look works well, especially if you find your hair limp and greasy, making it look flat. Just be aware of not overdoing the styling product and go for a hair gel or wax with a hold that suits your hair type. Have frizzy hair? Here are some styling products for such hair.

Top knot bun

Give this quirky style a try even if you have a mid-long length shag. You will need longer length of hair on your crown and center portion as compared to the sides. If you want a tightened, neat look, have your hair masked with some pomade and tie it into a top knot. This bun shouldn’t be too tight on the scalp. If you like your hair texture as it is, have a loose and messy bun. Wear this style with a suit if you want. You would look nothing less than an Italian heart-throb if you complete this look with a french beard, stubble or a cool mustache! Having trouble with managing a mustache? Here is what you should do!
