To avoid these chemicals, use these natural remedies to eliminate body odour.

1) Baking soda and lime juice paste: 

An ingredient such as baking soda powder is effective for body odour problem as it absorbs moisture and immediately kills odour-causing-bacteria. A combination of lemon juice and baking soda powder is refreshing and acts as a natural deodorant.

Steps:

  • Squeeze out half a lemon and mix its juice with some baking powder. Blend the two ingredients well into a fine paste.
  • Apply this paste onto your underarms and leave it on for 5-10 minutes.
  • Wash it off with water.


2) Apple cider vinegar bath soak:

Another ingredient that provides relief from body odour is apple cider vinegar. This ingredient is known to balance the pH levels of your skin and could control excessive sweat production. When in a hurry, dab some apple cider vinegar using a cotton ball. However, for a relaxing bath, treat yourself to a bath soak using apple cider vinegar. Doing this works great for tan-removal and is refreshing after a tedious workout.

Steps:

• Add a cup of apple cider vinegar to your bath.
• Another option is to soak a wet towel into a mix of water and this ingredient and use it as wipe.

3)  Witch hazel homemade deodorant:

Witch hazel, a herbal remedy, is a natural astringent and cleanser. It offers exceptional healing problems and kills odour-causing bacteria. Witch hazel lowers the skin’s pH levels, making it impossible for the bacteria to survive. An easy way for the application is by using it as a quick body-spray.

Steps:
• Pour in some witch hazel liquid in a clean spray bottle.
• Add a few drops of water to it and mix well.
• Another option is to dab some witch hazel before you apply your regular deodorant.

4)  Tea tree oil as a deodorant:
Tea tree oil is extremely therapeutic and soothing to the skin. It offers great medicinal, beauty and healing properties. This essential oil could resolve body odour problem as it is antiseptic and antibacterial in nature.

Additionally, it offers a pleasant fragrance that makes for a deodorant. Similarly, tea tree oil heals skin irritation and burns, reduces blemishes and moisturises skin. 

Steps:

• Take two drops of tea tree essential oil with 2 tbsp of water.
• Once you’ve mixed the ingredients, massage and apply gently on your underarms.
