In a series of tweets on Sunday, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh attacked Pakistan overs its dismal human rights records of minorities claiming that while "in India all people feel safe and respected", in Pakistan - Sindhi, Sikh, Baloch and other minorities were concerned about their safety.

Singh warned Islamabad against backing terror organisations. "What is happening with Sindhis, Sikhs, Balochis and other communities in Pakistan is not hidden from anyone in the world. Pakistan which is raising the topic of human rights violations in the UN Conference should peep inside its own country," said Singh.

"Human rights violations have been going on for a long time in Pakistan. The people who went to Pakistan after partition are still being ridiculed as Muhajirs. Whereas in India all people feel secure and are respected," said Singh in a back-to-back tweet in Hindi.

He took a dig at Pakistan for not able to digest India's decision to end Article 370 in J&K and thus trying to hoodwink the UN. At the same time, Singh warned Pakistan to leave the policy of supporting terrorism or else no power in the world will be able to stop its disintegration.

After Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi's diatribe at UN, Malala Yousafzai had also urged leaders at United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to intervene and work towards peace in Kashmir. Singh said that India commands trust in the international community and therefore Pakistan's attempt to mislead the United Nations failed miserably.

The minister also said that if anyone from Pakistan crosses the Line of Control, the Indian Army will not allow them to return.

"Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has given good advice to his people to not cross the Line of Control because Indian soldiers are ready and will not allow them to return," he said.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has been facing huge protests inside and outside of the country over persecution of minorities by its army.

In the latest such demonstrations, activists recently protested out the UN office in Geneva to expose the Pakistani government.
