Even if you have long locks, the frizzy texture can ruin it all. Dealing with the frizz is nothing less than a task. You are probably hassled looking for products that work in your favour, here is a rundown of some essential hair products that could save your day:

Deep conditioning hair mask
Maybe you need a little more than a conditioner for your hair-washing routine. A hair mask deep cleanses the scalp and nourishes it thoroughly. It is a ‘damage-control’ technique as it helps add weight to your hair, hydrates it and ensures recovery from heated styling and usage of hair dyes and colours. The best way to apply this is from mid-length till the tips, do this once every alternate week.

Hot-oil treatment tubes
This is another ‘go-to’ product to help deal with dry unmanageable hair. It is soothing to scalp and strengthens the hair cuticle, producing less frizz. A hot-oil treatment lets you have a warm relieving massage. Hot-oils, in tube form are convenient to use and store. You could use 1 with every use. Jojoba oil and coconut oil are good options. Note that, once you are done with its application, cover up in a towel or a shower cap and wait for a good 20-25 minutes. Once done, it is ideal to not use a shampoo or conditioner. However, if you find your hair texture greasy, wash with a mild shampoo.

Dry shampoo
You could always look at using a dry shampoo as these reduce chances of stripping your hair  off their natural oils unlike regular shampoos. This dry solution serves as a quick-fix for  greasy hair as well. Be it the spray or powdered form once you’ve sprayed or sprinkled it brush  a comb through your hair. Let the shampoo settle in for about 10 minutes and dry out all the  excessive powder using a diffuser on your blow dryer or just brush it out.

Anti-frizz serum

You may need a serum to coat your hair with a glossing effect and smooth down its texture, especially before you step out. A silicone anti-frizz serum does just that. Once you are done with your hair-wash routine, spread some serum using a flat-tooth comb and brush it through. Leave the hair to dry naturally. If you are looking at natural ingredients to add some  shine to your hair, try options like vegetable oils, aloe vera, and eggs.

Mousse

A mousse could add some texture and volume to your scanty, dry hair just after your wash. To add to this, once your hair is turning dry use a brush your hair backwards with a broad hair brush. This makes your hair appear bouncy with volume.

Heat protectant spray
Heat-damage is a common cause of frizzy, lifeless hair. Don’t miss out on a heat protectant spray just before you are blow-drying or styling your tresses. Regular use of heated styling tools add to the damage and you must use a heat protectant product without fail. Hence, some everyday habits that could further lead to hair loss could be avoided.

Shine spray

For some finishing effect, lightly spritz on a shine spray onto a brush and then run it through your hair, to tame down fly-aways or any dry, knotted strands. This keeps your hair in place and simply looks luscious and healthy.
Hair dressing pomade

With a paste like consistency, a hair pomade wax works great for thick, long fine hair  with hair-frizz problems. It’s a hair styling product that is versatile with any hair type  and gives a well-tamed look instantly. A coin-sized amount is enough as you may scrunch them into curls or leave them sleek, yet with a slight wave. This styling product  also helps tame those split-ends. Here are some more tips on how you can manage  dry, curly hair better.
