Since many years, yoga has taken many avatars which has made the practice more interesting and fun. Practise it underwater or in the snow, indulge your acrobatic side, or unleash the Madonna fan in you. Take your pick from the yoga trends that suits your style and wend your way to health and happiness.
On International Yoga Day on June 21, here are some of the 'brands' of yoga that are popular world-wide.
1. Acroyoga
Why do yoga when you can do acroyoga? A perfect combination of acrobatics and yoga, acroyoga combines elements of flexibility, strength and teamwork. 2. Aerial Yoga
Feel uplifted with this form of yoga, where you can practice your asanas while suspended in the air, using a hammock. Ex-gymnast and Broadway dancer Christopher Harrison founded AntiGravity Aerial Yoga in 2007, and Unnata Aerial Yoga offers classes around the world too.

3. Yoga for men

5. Couples Yoga
Everything is better when done with a loved one. Why should yoga be any different? Many yoga workouts involving partner poses are being offered, seeking not only to strengthen the body and quieten the mind, but also to deepen bonds between individuals. Yoga is in vogue, yes, but is the vogue in Yoga? One might think that the stylish form of dance known as 'vogueing', popularised by Madonna, and the ancient art of Yoga have very little in common, but set designer Juliet Murrell has found a way to bring them together. London-based House of Voga has classes set to 1980s music and elements of vogueing thrown into its Yoga. Strike a pose, people.
