Hair loss is an ailment most of us suffer from at some point, if not always. Hair fall signifies a follicle that is open or weak, that lets the hair slip out or fall. The diet’s protein quality directly affects the strength of the follicle and thus the amount of hair loss.
Include good quality and quantity of protein in your daily diet to directly reduce the more than normal strands of hair loss. Egg whites, soya, quinoa, pulses and legumes, and milk products are some important sources of protein. Other vitamins of importance are biotin, B12, folic acid, iron, selenium, vitamin A and C. Three to four servings of vegetables, two to three servings of fruits daily along with good quality proteins will help prevent excess loss of hair.
Also note that factors such as the hardness of water used for bathing, hair hygiene, topical applications of oil, shampoo and conditioner could also be an aid to save and glorify our manes.
