Huawei’s sub-brand on Tuesday launched the Honor 7X in India at the starting price of Rs 12,999.
At an event in London, where the smartphone was officially launched, the company said it will be available in two variants. While the 32GB, variant paired with 4GB of RAM, is priced at Rs 12,999, the 64GB variant will be available in Rs 15,999.
Honor 7X will be exclusively available on Amazon India from December 7. The sale of the much-awaited smartphone is to kick off at 12:00PM.
The e-commerce giant is also offering buyers a chance to win prizes including paid trips, smartphones, powerbanks and headphones.
As for the specifications, the device comes with a 5.93 inch screen and almost edge-to-edge display.
The smartphone is powered by the "Kirin 659" processor, runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS and offers dual-primary camera, fingerprint sensor and a selfie-shooter.
The London event of the Chinese smartphone maker also witnessed the global launch of the AI centric Honor V10 which was launched in China a few days ago. The V10 will be launched in India soon and dates are yet to be announnced.
the V10 features a 5.99-inch display with a 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Kirin 970 processor and comes with the Neural Processing Unit (NPU) for improved artificial intelligence. It will also feature a 13MP front-facing camera. It will be available in 128GB storage, 6 GB RAM variant and a 64 GB storage 4/6 GB RAM variant.
