Rating: **

What's it about:

There are horror films that revolve around a one line synopsis or idea and then progress the plot as the characters develop. Pizza 3D has a similar narration where we meet Kunal (Akshay) who is a pizza delivery boy who happens to have disbelief in spirits and ghosts. But one chance encounter during a delivery changes everything.

What's hot:

The makers have managed to keep the length of the film short, which is a bonus for a film of this genre. 3D impresses in a few scenes where it is more effective than others. The first half especially the first few minutes of the film are quite engaging. Oberoi is convincing in his part and shows different emotions effectively. Since he goes through most of the plot not believing whats happening around him his expressions are quite remarkable.

What's not:

The writers suffer from what to do next syndrome. Unable to give the story a conclusive end, they seem to have panicked at the idea of giving the plot a logical end. While the first half has some engaging scenes and spooky scenes the second half really doesn't do much to raise any scares. Also Oberoi has too  much screen time with the remaining cast left with very little to do.

What to do:
With very limited scary moments, this Pizza tastes a bit bland, we wish there was more topping to give it a flavor.
