Kevin, Stuart and Bob star in the movie 'Minions' that will release in July 2015. The first look is out and causing waves of excitement among fans of the series.
The film contrary to popular belief is not a sequel to the 'Despicable Me' series but is a prequel that shows the very beginning of time and also deciphers the origin of the minions. After serving many a famous villains & having spent a majority of their time in Antarctica, they decide to attend the villains convention to select a new master.
'Scarlet Overkill' and her inventor husband 'Herb Overkill' voiced by Sandra Bullock and Jon Hamm respectively are chosen to be their masters who have an evil scheme to take over the world.
For those of you who remember, the makers subtly hinted at a 'Minion' movie in the credits of 'Despicable me' where the 3 minions starring in the new film were seen auditioning for it.
