Watch: Reports reveal, Prince died from overdose of opioid fentanyl

Medical examiners have released the report stating that the musician Prince Rogers Nelson, or as he is better known, Prince, died of overdose of opioid fentanyl.

It is a potent opium derivative which can be 25 to 50 times more potent than heroin, according to the United States (US) Drug Enforcement Agency.

Prince was found dead at the elevator of his Minnesota studio, on April 21 at the age of 57.

The medical report of the investigation has been released, however, the full report would not be released, as reported by CNN.
