The much talked about film Haider directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and based on William Shakespeare's Hamlet is finally out with its trailer. After the success of his earlier films Omkara and Maqbool that had screenplays adapted from Othello and Macbeth, this is Bhardwaj's third Bollywood version of a Shakespeare play.

The film stars actors Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Tabu, Irrfan Khan and Kay Kay Menon. Shahid's has a completely new look in Haider and plays an aggressive and intense man on a mission to avenge the wrong done to him in the past. While the trailer does not reveal much about Shraddha's character in the film, Tabu's complex role as Haider's mother leaves a lasting impact. Shahid and Vishal last came together in 2009 for the critically acclaimed film Kaminey and we hope the duo can recreate their magic in the box office.

Co-produced by Siddharth Roy Kapoor, Haider is slated to hit the screens on October 2 this year. Meanwhile, you can watch the trailer here:
