Zee TV celebrated the completion of the 1000th episode of its super hit show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Mega Challenge in style. Everything about the evening was grand — from the huge stage to the megawatt celebrity attendees to the size of the audience. The stage was set on fire as singing sensations from different generations came together to grace the occasion. Sonu Niigaam, the very first anchor of the show hosted the evening taking the audience down memory lane to when the show first started. Shaan Mukherjee was dropped onstage from the sky  wearing black attire and black shades, singing an iconic number from Don — to uproarious cheers from the audience. The team from the film 3 Idiots —R Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra put in an appearance that revved up the tempo even further. The Maharashtra team emerged winner after a hotly contested duel against the Bengal team. Attending the evening were Zee TV’s Subhash Chandra as well as Kavita Krishnamurthy, Salim and Sulaiman Merchant, Leslie Lewis, Himesh Reshamiyya, Penaz Masani, Abhijeet Bhattacharya  and others.
