The inaugural session of the FICCI Frames conference was moderated by Karan Johar and also had Yash Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Dutch actress Victoria Koblenko and CM Ashok Chavan, among others. The day rolled into further sessions with veterans of TV as well as film directors. Karan Johar, Rahul Bose, Nandita Das, Vijay Singh, Shabana Azmi, Irrfan Khan talked about Indian films going global and managed to keep the audiences engaged in the process. In the film directors’ meet, Amole Gupte and Sanjay Gupta gave fascinating insights, while Kabir Khan stole the limelight with intelligent observations on the industry. Quite an eventful day.
