Film veterans from all departments of Bollywood were honoured in a suburban ceremony that saw the likes of Asha Parekh and Manoj Kumar turn up to receive mementos.  Govinda came in to present an award too, while politico Gurudas Kamat made for one of the few non-filmi personages there. Asha Parekh hung around with yesteryears actress Shammi, Anu Malik presented an award to old-time music director Ravi and Salma Agha made a surprise appearance. Fresh from the success of his latest film Rajkumar Santoshi also took part in the award presentation ceremony and chatted with Manoj Kumar among others.
