Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza were married in a traditional Maharashtrian ceremony at a city hotel (followed by a church wedding the next day). Bollywood and political circles came in to celebrate with the Deshmukh and D’Souza families. The groom came astride a mare to begin the morning with the traditional band baajaa, baaraat, while most guests arrived directly at the hotel. Shah Rukh Khan was seen bonding briefly with Leander Paes and Rhea Pillai. The star brigade included Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn with Kajol, Shahid Kapoor, John Abraham among others. Vilasrao Deshmukh welcomed  politicos like Praful Patel, Sharad Pawar, Chhagan Bhujbal, Raj Thackeray, Priya Dutt and Aditya  Thackeray. The biz lot — Anil with Tina Ambani and Parmeshwar Godrej also made it. Others spotted were Karan with Hiroo Johar, Asin, Sajid Khan, Sanjay with Maheep Kapoor and Maria Goretti. Riteish tweeted a picture of Genelia and him after the wedding.
