The launch of the second season of Zee TV’s Dance India Dance was definitely a crowd-puller. It began with different kinds of dances being performed, right from classical to Bollywood item numbers and also two international dances presented by overseas artistes Mithun Chakraborty, fondly called Mithunda, was the star of the event — he with his funky pants and jacket. Said the dance grandmaster, “This is not really a reality show but a genuine hunt for a dancing superstar.” Remo D’Souza made it a point to be there despite his broken leg — like a true mentor. Terence Lewis and Geeta Kapoor also contributed their bit to the evening’s function.
