To kill a mockingbird
This 1962 Oscar-winning film was an adaption of Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning  novel where a young father, a lawyer from Alabama during the Depression-era, defends a black man against a false rape charge. A deeply moving adaptation, it is an account of how the father teaches his children the importance of fighting prejudice.
