Bollywood descended onto Wadala for the premiere of Amitabh Bachchan’s new film. It’s been a long time since Mumbai saw such a gathering —the last being  at the premiere of Slumdog Millionaire.
The Bollywood biggies — Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar —were there with their spouses and  families to keep the Bachchans  company. Yash Birla was seen bonding with SRK and Karan Johar during the interval of the movie. Vidya Balan looked gorgeous in a Sabyasachi off-white saree but decided to make a quiet exit from the auditorium even as everybody was looking to congratulate her after the movie.
Bachchan was busy acknowledging the congratulatory messages that rained in on him post-movie while Abhishek was busy signing autographs.
p.S.: Some actors who hadn’t got VIP seats in the auditorium and were cribbing about it, were sporting enough not to make an issue out of it.
