Ramu from Haathi Mere Saathi

Raju is an orphan who is saved from a leopard by four elephants. One of the four takes a special liking to Raju, who in turn names him Ramu (duh!). Elephant and man become inseparable. But things get complicated when the wife asks Raju to choose between his family and the animal. Raju snubs his wife who in turn leaves him. At this stage, Ramu sheds tears and follows her in a bid to save their marriage.
