The film and TV Producers’ Guild Association Awards saw a clash between Jodhaa-Akbar and Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par as both films walked out with seven awards each. Ashutosh Gowariker’s film saw Hrithik Roshan bag the Best Actor, AR Rahman the Best Music Director and Neeta Lulla the award for Best Costume. Taare Zameen Par won for Best Lyrics (Prasoon Joshi), Best Screenplay (Amol Gupte) and Best Story (Amol Gupte). The Best Film and Best Editing awards went to Aamir Khan. Priyanka Chopra pipped Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the best actress award.
