With the Indian film industry set to complete 100 years in May next year, filmmakers have already started working on films and documentaries based on the journey of Indian cinema. However, it’s not just a few filmmakers and documentary directors who will showcase their stories on Indian films, but also the mainstream filmmakers.  Industry sources reveal that young mainstream Hindi  filmmakers like Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti will be making documentaries that will talk about the 100 years of Indian cinema. A source says, “Though the initial details have yet to be charted out, some have already started their docu-films. Each one is presenting their point of view of Indian cinema’s journey in th last 100 years. This is their way to pay an ode to the industry that has today become one of the biggest in the world.”
