You remind me of Freddie Mercury, Lady Gaga tells Chunky Pandey

International singer Lady Gaga’s first visit and performance in India was memorable for many, but it was a rather special moment for actor Chunky Pandey. The actor, alongwith his family had attended the Lady Gaga concert organised by actor Arjun Rampal. And it was not only her performance that was the toast of the evening. It was rather Gaga’s comment that he reminded him of Queen singer Freddie Mercury, which made his day.

A source tells us, “When Gaga visited the city, she met many Bollywood celebs. But when she met Chunky Pandey, she exclaimed to him that he looked so much like Freddie Mercury!”

Freddie was a famous British singer, musician and song writer and the lead vocalist of the famous rock band Queen. And it’s a known fact that Gaga rates Freddie Mercury to be her number one influence. She even credits her stage name to his popular song Radio GaGa. Reportedly the pop singer had earlier said, “I adored Freddie Mercury and Queen had a hit called Radio GaGa. That’s why I love the name.”

“Lady Gaga went on to tell Chunky that by meeting him how she was suddenly missing Freddie,” the source further adds.
