Yoko Ono set to pen tell-all book on John Lennon

Yoko Ono, widow of John Lennon, is finally ready to pen her memoirs. The late Beatles' first wife Cynthia has penned two autobiographies about her life with Lennon but Japanese-born artist and musician Yoko, 76, has kept silent.

Now, Yoko, the woman blamed by some fans for breaking up The Beatles, says she is all set to write about her eventful life, reports the Daily Express.

In a website Q&A session with fans, she replies to a question about an autobiography, "I would love to do it. I just have to find the time."

Responding to a further question she says it will be her "next book, which will be written in the next five years".

A Beatles expert said, "Unlike Cynthia, Yoko has never really told her side of the Beatles story and the truth about her affair and subsequent marriage to John, so the book will be much awaited. She's always maintained she never broke up The Beatles, so this will be her chance to put the record straight."
