Who is Katrina Kaif's saviour?

Actress Katrina Kaif had a close one! The pretty actor seems to be meeting with many accidents on the sets, off late. But the lucky gal always has her co-stars turn saviour for her!

Only recently, reports of her co-star Ali Zafar, of Tere Bin Laden fame, jumping in to save Katrina Kaif when her hair got stuck in a pedestal fan on the sets of Mere Brother ki Dulhan made the rounds.

But this time it was a close call as the accident could’ve proven fatal, if not for co-star Akshay Kumar’s quick thinking. While shooting for a song for their forthcoming film, Kaif nearly slipped off the pulley-like instrument used to elevate the lead pair at a significant height above the ground. It was then that Kaif began to slip off Kumar quickly grabbed her.

Says a production source, “As Akshay and Katrina were being pulled up for the song, Kat began to slip off since the outfit she was wearing didn’t allow her to have a firm grip on the rope.

"Thanks to Akshay’s presence of mind and fit body, he quickly slipped down and held onto her until they were safely brought back to the ground,” says the sources adding that the entire unit heaved a sigh of relief when they touched ground. Phew!
