ShareWashington, DC: Spanish actress Penelope Cruz has revealed that when she first came to Hollywood, her English was so poor that she ended up sexually propositioning a hairdresser.

Cruz, who made her US big screen debut in 1998 in the movie The Hi-Lo Country, admitted she had to learn things the hard way.
"When I was in high school I studied French, so I learned English late," contactmusic quoted her as saying.
"When I first came to America I made a lot of mistakes, like going to the hair salon and asking for a blow job instead of a blow dry," she said.
