What's the wierd thing in your mouth?

With a slew of reality shows on the anvil, it’s not always the adventurous kind who are game for anything that moves. Food dares are not just on-screen — sometimes in reality too a spontaneous situation just crops up and you find you’ve eaten the unthinkable!

For instance, TV actor Sara Khan had been on an algae diet which she says was a part of her “exclusive one week long salad diet.” But she’s quick to add another incident. She was on a bike when a mosquito flew smack into her mouth.

Actor Barkha Bisht thinks eel sushi is themost quirky thing she’s ever had. “I had it on my honeymoon at Maldives,” she  swears.
Actor Aarya Babbar recalls that he had once put a small live octopus in his mouth in Tokyo. “It is supposed to be the sign of a Samurai fighter,” he quips. “There’s  a certain way of eating it so that it doesn’t sting you while you are at it.”

Comedian Umesh Pherwani on his trip to Bangkok was fascinated by the fried scorpions being sold on the  street sides. “I held one by its tail in my mouth. My friends took a picture and spat it out immediately,” he laughs.

Actor Aamir Ali gulped down a glass of juice bubbling with ants. “After a workout, I guzzled down a glass of juice when I saw ants crawling up the brim,” he recalls.
