They called an early night at the after party they attended. Yes, Hollywood’s first couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie seemed in no mood to party after the awards season was over and they retired into their suites long before the party were over.
The couple made a brief appearance at one of the parties, shook everybody’s hands, air-kissed a few times and the retired into their room. The couple didn’t really have anything to celebrate. However, as somebody watching from a distance, it was clear that the couple had come a long way since the reports of the two of them fighting over one of their children’s nanny came out in the open.
At the awards function, the most-talked about gesture of Brad (if you caught it on Vh1) was how he opened the door of the limousine for Angelina. Angie then gracefully accepted the gesture with a nod of her head and her trademark smile, as her partner stood with his hand on the door shaft.
At the after party, Angelina paid a compliment to Brad by saying that he is “prettier” than her! Of course, critics thought that there was loads of sarcasm hidden in the statement. “You’re prettier than me,” Jolie told Brad on the red carpet as they arrived. Pitt was wearing a three-piece tuxedo suit at the 69th Golden Globes event.
