Vidya Balan's health scare

Actress Vidya Balan, who has been shooting non-stop despite ill health, was recently rushed to Lilavati hospital last Thursday when her condition worsened.

“Vidya had been suffering from loss of appetite and constant headaches from the past couple of days. But she continued shooting until it got bad on Dussera. She was taken to Lilavati immediately, where they figured that her haemoglobin had dropped due to exhaustion,” reveals a source.

Her family insisted on her being kept there for two days as they were apparently worried that she would get back to work without adequate rest.

“Her family kept it under wraps as they didn’t want too many prying eyes around her. Vidya was admitted for two days and now she is resting at home,” said the source. She was apparently discharged on Saturday and since then her parents have put her under house arrest. She’s currently at home, resting and spending quality time with her new-born nephew and niece.
