Uma's Bollywood-inspired look was completed with a silver and pink ornate necklace and pointed silver pumps, which was miles away from her coke-snorting character in Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction, the role which catapulted her to fame back in 1994, the Sun reported.

She spent part of her childhood living in the Almora district of Uttarakhand and was named Uma by her dad, who is a Sanskrit scholar and a Tibetologist.
The Kill Bill actress will feature in five episodes of the musical drama, which centres on the people on stage and behind the scenes during the creation of a Broadway musical.
