Three-day programmes to keep alive actor Murali's memory

To keep alive memories of late actor Murali, who passed away on last August 6, the Bharat Murali Commemmorative Forum along with Kozhikode Corporation, will organise a wide range of cultural programmes from August 6 to 8 here.

The highlight of the programmes organised as part of his death anniversary observance, will be a film festival,in which eight films acted by Murali will be shown, a release from KJ Thomas, General Convener of the Organising Commitee, said.

Among the other films likely to be shown are Amaram, Aadharam, Chambakkulam thachan and Kanakkinavu.

A photo exhibition, seminar and release of a book titled Holy Actor, on the late actor's career, are also planned, it said.

An elaborate organising committee with Kozhikode Mayor M Bhaskaran as Chairman, has been formed, the release said.
