Singers Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and rock band Coldplay have taken a stand against global hunger and are auctioning concert tickets and memorabilia for charity.
Swift is offering an autographed guitar for the annual Hungerthon auction organised by the Why Hunger foundation, which raises money to provide food for impoverished families around the world. While Perry fans can bid on a pink satin jacket from the pop star’s wardrobe, Coldplay will fly their lucky winner to see them at a London gig in June.
The Ramones rocker Marky Ramone is also donating drum lessons, while Green Day and Nickelback have signed electric guitars to go under the hammer. The Charity Buzz online auctions will come to a close on 30 November.
