ShareMumbai: I can never know Shah Rukh Khan. None of us can know him because he will not allow you to know him. He appears to be the King of Showbiz but he is purely a family man inside. All I know of him is that he thinks of his family first in whatever he does and even after every success or failure. He is a great friend to have around and he can also handle his enemies by praising them.
I did two films with him, Trimurti as producer and Pardes as director. He's a director's delight and rival's fright. He understands the whole process of filmmaking, the unforeseen problems and stands by his producer unconditionally.
On the sets he cares for every person of the unit. He inspires them to get the best in the movie. I have so many lovely memories of SRK that I will mention in my book when I write it. I know he loves me, respects me and loves giving me pleasant surprises -- and I love him too for that. At times I cannot even be angry with him even if I want to. In a nutshell, he is the biggest charmer in showbiz that I have ever met. I wish him health and happiness and success in whatever he does.
