Sonakshi Sinha's first love

Actor Sonakshi Sinha got a taste of instant fame post her debut film with actor Salman Khan. The actor will soon be seen in her second film, and already has many films and endorsements in her kitty to boast about. However, not many know that when it comes to taking the final call, it’s not just Sonakshi who takes the decision. The young girl apparently has her feet completely grounded and prefers to let her parents help her in making the decisions for her.

A source close to the actor says, “Generally, all her film scripts are narrated to her parents and they play a key role in the choices that she makes. Sonakshi has complete trust and respect in her parents’ decisions and when it comes to film choices too, she prefers to discuss things with them before taking the final call.” On the show India’s Glam Diva, Sonakshi was heard saying, “I have got many offers for films and endorsements, but that department I have completely entrusted to my parents. If they want me to do a good big banner film, with a good package, yet keeping in mind my dignity, I would definitely do it.”

From being a fashion designer student to becoming an actor in Bollywood was quite a journey for her. But most don’t know that as a designing student, Sona was also modelling. Those close to Sona claim that she was all set to be a designer and films were never on her agenda. Rather, it was modelling that she enjoyed doing as a student.

“Films were not her priority. But while interning as a fashion designing student, Sonakshi got an opportunity to walk the ramp. And after that she bagged Dabanng and started working on her weight issues. However, even today, Sonakshi feels comfortable with modelling and would love to indulge in that in the future. Be it magazine shoots or walking the ramp for her designer friends, she just loves to sashay on the ramp,” the source adds.
