Soha Ali Khan-Kunal Khemu getting engaged!

For a long time now rumours have been rife about actors Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu are getting hitched soon. But After Hrs can now reveal buzz that the couple is indeed getting engaged this year.

A source close to Soha has confirmed that they are getting engaged and marriage will follow soon. “Yes, they are getting engaged soon. Both of them have decided that it is time they took another step forward in their relationship,” informed a source.

Soha and Kunal have been together for a while now. Previously, Soha was rumoured to have dated South actor Siddharth of Rang De Basanti fame. When they split in 2008, Soha soon moved on to Kunal, whom she met during the shooting of their film Dhoondte Reh Jaaoge (2009) And since then the couple has been steady and their relationship has only become stronger. There were reports of problems brewing between the couple, when Kunal was absent from Soha’s father, the late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi’s last rites. But the couple brushed aside such rumours and confirmed that they are very much together.

“Recent reports suggested that they were moving in with each other, but Kunal denied it all. The couple decided against a live-in relationship. They will get engaged first, then move in or get married,” the source adds. “The family, including Soha’s mom, actor Sharmila Tagore, loves Kunal. They also think that it’s the right time to get engaged, since Soha’s brother actor Saif (Ali Khan) is tying the knot with his girlfriend Kareena (Kapoor) in March-April.” Another birdie tells us that the engagement might take place during Saif-Kareena’s marriage itself.
