Slash plans India trip

As Bangalore grapples with its space situation as far as international gigs are concerned, here’s some good news for those who can’t get over the glory days of the band, Guns N’ Roses. Slash, in all probability, is going to be in India in February 2013. While we’ve not received any official information yet, www.pollstar.com states that he is all set to perform on February 14 in Chandigarh, February 16 in Mumbai and February 17 in Bangalore.

Born Saul Hudson, Slash is a British-American musician and songwriter. He was of course most famous as the lead guitarist of the band, Guns N’ Roses. During his later years with the band, Slash formed the side project, Slash’s Snakepit. He then co-founded the group, Velvet Revolver, which re-established him as a mainstream performer in the mid-to late 2000s. Slash has since released two solo albums, Slash (2010), featuring an all-star roster of guest musicians, and Apocalyptic Love (2012), recorded with his band.
