The protests and accusations hurled at Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s new business venture have not dented Shilpa’s enthusiasm.
The couple acquired the popular Bandra nightclub some time ago and renamed it.
Though many threatened to take her to court and also protested saying that a nightclub should not be present in a residential area, Shilpa is not ready to let that affect her. She is aiming to lure people to take membership of the club by promising them security like they haven’t received before in any other lounge.
After the 26/11 attacks, Shilpa doesn’t want to take any chance. She has hired specially trained security personnel who have gone through commando training to man the property.
Shilpa says, “When you start a new venture, you have to make sure that nothing bad happens to it. I am aware of the security threats and concern the government has towards hotels, clubs etc. So we have covered ourselves with the best security blanket in the country. From trained bodyguards to electronic surveillance, the property has it all.”
Shilpa adds, “I even want the children of the members to chill at this place and have a great time. As a result I would want the surroundings to be safe. There are so many nightspots where people don’t want their children to go because of drugs. But we won’t encourage any addicts in our club.”
