ShareMumbai: "It feels weird to call Raj my fiancé now," Shilpa says amidst peals of laughter. "But I'm truly happy." Well, the sudden decision stirred many rumours, especially since sister Shamita couldn't attend the engagement as she is still in the Bigg Boss house. "We had to do it because Raj's sister was here and he was going abroad for a while and the muhurat was good. So we had no choice. Almost the entire family was there except Shamita. Shamita and I are very close and it pained me to not have her around. She will kill me once she is out, but after I explain the situation, she's sure to understand," says Shilpa, who got a whopping 20-carat diamond ring from Raj.
"It's not a big issue, it just makes our relationship official. He's gifted me rings earlier too. This one's the biggest though," she chirps.
Ask her about the marriage date, which is speculated to be next month, and she simply says, "I can't tell you because of some reasons, but you'll get a heart attack if I tell you how close it is," she says mysteriously. Won't she wait till Shamita comes out of the Bigg Boss house? "I'll make sure that Shamita is at the wedding!"
