Shah Rukh Khan takes a break

Just when everyone is complaining about the rising mercury levels and wanting a summer vacation, guess who’s got lucky? None other than superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

The actor is probably the only star in Bollywood to have a summer break when the entire B-Town is working round the clock and that is because the actor has wrapped up all his shooting commitments.

Khan who is currently on a three month break is also busy with his cricket team. 

“I have taken a three-month off from my shooting schedule. I want to stick with this young team and win and enjoy after every win,” Khan is reported to have said.

The actor is just back from Ajmer Sharif where he paid obeisance at the dargah in Rajasthan to pray for his mother on her 20th death anniversary.

A source close to the actor confirms that the actor is on break. “Shah Rukh is currently on a break but that is because he has completed all his pending work and shooting schedules. He is not shooting for a movie as of now but he will be shooting for his commercials and other professional commitments.”

Of course, when Khan finally does return, it will be back to a packed schedules with two mega budget films lined for release.

According to buzz, the superstar will not leave any stone unturned for the promotional activity of the two. These will most probably include touring cities which will eventually leave him with little time for family and friends.
