Saying yes to NO!

DJs and B-Town celebrities come together to spread the message —'say no to drugs'.

Saying yes to NO!

The Sunburn Festival in Goa attracts people from across the world who come together with the common aim of partying. Set in a state that has seen drug related crimes grab the attention of the nation, this year for the first time (and with the corporation of the state), the festival will send out one clear message — no drugs!

The organisers of Sunburn have also roped in Bollywood celebrities like Neha Dhupia, Mandira Bedi, Aarti Chhabria, Anushka Manchanda and Anusha Dandekar (faces of the festival) to promote the cause by voicing the message to the throngs of visitors to the festival.

Shailendra Singh, head honcho of Percept — the event managers, says, “Goa has had a history when it comes to drug related crimes and since we have been hosting Sunburn so smoothly in the state for some years now, we thought we should give something back to the state that is constructive in nature. We have decided to root for no drugs and will keep a vigil so that no one consumes anything that is banned. It is only a part of our bigger goal that is to take this cause to the entire state.”

The festival boasts a line-up of world-renowned artistes like the number one house DJ Roger Sanchez, number one DJ Armin Van Buuren,  Jalebee Cartel, Arno & Norman, Sultan, Greg Pidc**k, Janux, Tatva Kundalini, Clement, Pearl, Ma Faiza, Tuhin, Vachan Chinnappa, Baba Robjin, Karan Bhoj, DJ Jayant, DJ Ajit and Shy-o.

Party the night away
The Festival will be held between December 27 and 29 and is expected to see B-town’s A-list actors like Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri, Arjun Rampal and wife Mehr among numerous models, top designers and socialites of Mumbai put on their partying shoes.
