Sameera Reddy’s a home-bird!

Sameera Reddy may have a wild and bindaas image, thanks to the kind of roles the actor’s played on screen. But while the actor enjoys partying with her set of friends once in a while, not many know that she has a strong domestic streak in her as well.

A source close to Sameera reveals that she is in fact quiet homely and very spiritually inclined too. “Sameera has a hectic shooting schedule. even if she’s not seen as much in Bollywood, she has a great career going down South. In fact, she is one of the highest-paid and busiest actresses there,” says the insider.

However, when it comes to taking a break, contrary to her wild image, the actor prefers to spend time at home or in an ashram! “Yes, I am very spiritually inclined and do visit ashrams. The place is peaceful, so I try and head there as much as possible. Nothing rejuvenates me better,” says Sameera, adding that she enjoys her rounds of partying too, “but I am just as happy being on my own too.” Though spiritual, Sameera reveals that she isn’t overtly religious. “My mom insists on me saying the Hanuman Chalisa often, so I chant that. I believe in meditation and prayers, but not essentially in going to a temple daily,” elaborates the actor.

Sameera, who’s been travelling to and fro from Mumbai and her shoots down South also insists that there’s no place like home. “I don’t know why people often get surprised to learn that I’m actually quite a home-bird , but I am constantly travelling, so I do miss home. And when I am in the city, I love to make the most of it by spending time at home with my family,” she smiles.
