Mumbai: Sameera Reddy may appear smiling in the photograph but then that's only because our photographer asked her to.

The actress got the shock of her life when she discovered recently that her profile and photographs were doing the rounds of a matrimonial site.

In reality, the actor is yet to recover from the shock she got a few days ago. Sameera came to know that her detailed profile and photographs were doing the rounds of an Indian matrimonial site.

"I got to know about it through a friend who said that I have a matrimonial profile. According to the profile, I have even put up details about the kind of a man I want to marry. And before I know it, the news is all over the Internet. Do you think that I need to go to a website to declare that I want to marry? Now I am wondering whether I should sue the company or send them a notice," she said.

She has asked her publicist to explore the legal options to ensure that her name is not used to lure more surfers to the site. "Last I heard is that they have taken that profile out of the site. But this is so disgusting. Now, everybody is asking me when I am getting married," she said.

Sameera is now gearing up for the release of Priyadarshan's next film. Apart from this, she is excited about playing a Naxalite in Ananth Mahadevan's Red Alert where her role is based on a real-life character of a battered village woman.

"The woman is gang-raped and that too by the police. This turns her against the system and ultimately into a Naxalite. Apart from that, I am doing a Nagesh Kukunoor film called Yeh Hosla," she said.
