Sameera Reddy's birthday ritual -- AIDS test

Actor Sameera Reddy, who is currently getting ready for the promotion of her upcoming film Tezz, has confessed to a quirky ritual that she follows on her birthday. The actor is going to turn 29 on December 14 and apparently, each year on her birthday Sameera gets herself a test for AIDS done!

Talking on December 1, World’s AIDS Day, the actor explained that how she is into AIDS awareness programmes, and gets herself checked every year as a compulsory thing. Sameera believes that this is her way of contributing to AIDS awareness.

She recently tweeted, “Just did an Aids Awareness campaign! nos of Ppl infected in India solely due to ignorance is scary!” The optimist actor went on further and tweeted, “If #kolaveri can go so viral, why not Aids Awareness? Let’s use this medium to sprd the MSG! Protect urself! Celebrate life this World Aids Day!”

Sameera seems to be totally upbeat about this whole awareness programme and is playing her part in the battle against AIDS. Just like Sameera, Hollywood actor Scarlett Johansson also takes AIDS test and that also twice a year.
