ShareMumbai: The third night of the IIFA weekend, to be telecast tonight, celebrated the spectacular IDEA IIFA Awards with the introduction of the Videocon Golden Decade Honours.It was held at at The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel, China.
Crafted and sponsored by the Gitanjali Lifestyle, the trophies were awarded to Shah Rukh Khan (Male star of the decade), Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (Female star of the decade), Lagaan (Movie of the decade), Rakesh Roshan (Director of the decade) and AR Rahman (Music of the decade).
Mehul Choksi, Chairman, says, "Gitanjali was honoured to be able to pay a handsome tribute to the achievers who have been at the forefront of propelling Bollywood onto the global stage."
Gitanjali has been associated with IIFA for the last five years and Choksi was felicitated by Amitabh Bachchan, Brand ambassador, IIFA.
