Often branded as the 'Bad boy' of Bollywood, actor Salman Khan is all up for a good cause and has decided to walk the ramp in support of NRI fashion designer Anand Jon who was sentenced to 59 years of imprisonment on rape and sexual assault charges by a US court recently.

The Bollywood superstar is expected to walk the ramp for Anand's sister Sanjana Jon who will showcase her collection at the India Fashion Week in October here.

"Sanjana is a very dear friend and she has suffered a lot during her brother's trial. I have interacted with Anand and I never felt he was a bad guy. She went through a lot of trauma and is trying to financially rebuild herself and I will help her in whatever way I can," said the actor who was in the capital to launch the 'Being Human' gold coins designed in association between Geetanjali group and the Salman Khan Foundation.

Salman has now joined celebrities like singer Shibani Kashyap who have come out in support of Sanjana's initiative to get a re-trial for her brother.

The actor, who is an active philanthropist, was the showstopper for 'We support Being Human' collection by designers Anand N Soni and Rohit Gandhi-Rahul Khanna at the
grand finale of the Van Heusen India Mens Week held earlier this month.

"If money can save someone's life we are ready to give out money and I don't want anything in return. If you have enough resources help someone who is in need," Salman said.

"Whenever I ask someone it feels like I am threating someone. You can call my charity work as selfish, selfless or a publicity stunt. If money can spread love and make someone's life better I'll do whatever I can in my capacity," the actor added.

Salman, who is riding high on the success of his latest release 'Wanted' believes that his upcoming film 'Main Aur Mrs Khanna' starring Kareena Kapoor will also be liked by
the audience because of its simplicity.

"I'm very happy with the response that 'Wanted' has got from the audience. I wish that my upcoming film 'Mair Aur Mrs Khanna' will be a hit as well, as its a common story with
common people which can be watched with family," Salman said.
