Salman Khan has found his perfect bride

Easily one of India’s most eligible bachelors, actor Salman Khan made being single in one’s forties quite fashionable. Having been in the industry for more than 23 years, the actor in the past has dated some of the most beautiful women in the industry.

From Somy Ali to Katrina Kaif, he charmed them all and has still managed to remain single and unmarried. But all that’s going to change now, if the latest development is anything go by.  The industry is abuzz about Salman getting hitched this May. Yes, the brat Khan apparently has approved a girl introduced to him by his mother and given his consent to getting married.

Says a source close to the star, “Bhai has been in and out of love for a long time now. But now, he is in a better space — professionally and personally,  and now seems ready for marriage and being a devoted hubby. And it’s not Bhai who has chosen the girl, but his mother who has taken stock of his life and chosen the girl who’ll keep her son happy. Firstly, the girl isn’t from the industry. She’s an Anglo-Indian model, born and brought up in Scotland. Salman has been in touch with her since they first met.”

So marriage is on the cards soon? “Absolutely,” says a family friend. “Their families have planned to take things ahead, now that they both approve of each other. Invites will be sent out, and I don’t mind saying that the event is going to beat all his blockbusters —  after all, it’s Salman Khan who’s getting married! He is currently busy shooting for Dabangg 2. Once the film is wrapped up, he’ll get busy with the wedding preparations. The family is very excited,” he adds.

Do we hear a million hearts breaking at this news?
