Richa Chadda’s new avatar

Actress Richa Chadda, who won accolades for her performance in Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur, seems to have turned a blue-eyed girl for many filmmakers. The actress has her hands full with films — Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Fukrey, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela and Mira Nair’s next film.

But the actress is personally looking forward to her latest challenge of playing the role of a mafia don. A source tells us, “Richa always believes in doing something different. She will not do the same kind of roles again and again. You will always get to see a different avatar of the actor on screen in different films. She is also pumped up as apparently a lot of insiders have told her that she will swoop a lot of the supporting actress awards this year.”
