Ranveer Singh: Freeze frame

Recently, Ranveer Singh shot a chilly sequence for his upcoming film Ram Leela.  He was shooting for a song sequence in Udaipur which required him to be in the water for five minutes. The problem was the freezing cold. It was less than three degrees and to make it worse, Ranveer wasn’t feeling well. The production team thought that he will be unable to pull it off. They were willing to postpone the shoot to the next day.

However, the actor insisted on doing the scene on the same day because they were running on a tight schedule. The 15-day schedule had to be wrapped up and his scene was one of the last ones to be shot.

However, not only did he agree to shoot, he ended up being in the ice cold water for more than 45 minutes! Says a source, “Ranveer had to shoot a scene in freezing water which everyone was sceptical about. However, Ranveer dived into the shoot and spent almost an hour getting it right.”
